Range and GitHub

Connect GitHub to Range so you can see and add pull requests and issues to your Check-in with one click, then share your progress with your team.

Connect GitHub to Range

You need to be a GitHub administrator in order to connect the app to your Range workspace. To connect Range, follow these steps:

  1. Visit the ​integration settings page
  2. Find GitHub and select "Set this up"
  3. Press the button "Connect GitHub and Range"
  4. Follow the authentication steps, providing the appropriate approval
  5. On returning to Range, GitHub and Range should be connected

Once connected, individual users can link their identities using a simple authentication flow to see activity when composing their Check-in.

  1. Install Range Sync for Chrome​
  2. Enable GitHub in the extension settings

As you visit GitHub pages, activity will appear when composing your Check-in. You can always add any webpage using the Range Sync for Chrome by selecting "Add to next Check-in" from the extension bar.
