Celebrating Pride with stories of empathy and inclusion

Range celebrates pride with real life stories of empathy and inclusion

It seems like the world we knew at the start of 2020 has completely changed in just a few short months. Amid a pandemic, physical separation, and large scale social unrest, enduring the day-to-day can be a herculean effort. Whether it's escaping into the confines of "work as usual" for some or struggling to deal with new realities for most, stress levels are through the roof compared to last year.

It's understandable if we forget to smile or feel hopeful. But it’s also important to remember that we’re not alone in this.

So this year, we wanted to celebrate Pride differently. Many of us, in the LGBTQ+ community, especially queer people of color, feel unusually heavy this time around. But we find that what often fights off loneliness and brings humanity together are stories about connection. Tales of lessons learned, mistakes made, and hearts expanded can help to shine a light in dark times.

Stories are at the center of every movement, and inspire generations to act together and change. Our stories reflect where we want to be and who we want to be as human beings.

And without further ado, here are our stories of resilience, inclusion, and growth.

Happy Pride,

The Range Team
